Drivers Ed

Information about the program

Driver's Education is a program run through the school and taught by teachers at Arlington High School. Students learn the rules of the road and everything needed to pass the test at the Department of Licensing to receive a driver's license.

Classes

(Schedule is subject to change due to circumstances, i.e. school closure, etc.)

First Quarter 2021
Please fill out BOTH of the forms below.  Both are required at turn in and your spot is not guaranteed unless we have both forms.
- First Quarter 2021 Application - PART 1 REQUIRED
- First Quarter 2021 Application agreement - PART 2 REQUIRED
- First Quarter starts Sept. 27 and ends Nov. 18
- Mandatory parent and student night Sept. 27

Second Quarter 2020 - TBD

- Second Quarter starts Nov. 16 and ends Jan. 21
- Mandatory parent and student night (Nov. 16 and Dec. 14)

Third Quarter 2021 - TBD


- Third Quarter starts Feb. 1 and ends March 25
- Mandatory parent and student night (Feb. 1 and March 15)

Fourth Quarter 2021 - TBD
 -Fourth Quarter 2021 application - PART 1
- Fourth Quarter 2021 application - PART 2
 - Fourth Quarter Starts April 19 and ends June 10th
 - Mandatory parent and student nights (Apr 19 and May 24)

Summer Quarter 2021
Please fill out BOTH of the below forms.  Both are required at turn in and your spot is not guaranteed unless we have both forms.
- Summer quarter 2021 application - Required
- Summer quarter 2021 information acknowledgement - Required

 -Summer Quarter starts June 14th and ends July 15th
- Mandatory parent and student night (June14th)


What you need to take the class:

- A valid Washington State Driver's Permit
- Cost for course is $525
- All of your paperwork turned into the office

*Please note: The Driver's Education program follows the AHS calendar. Driver's Ed. is not in session on weekends, holidays, vacations dates or snow days. All phone calls and emails will be returned within a reasonable time upon returning to school.
